This training course uses the game "The OpenScientoMeter" to address the basic principles of Open Science in a collective and participative way. Topics covered and discussed include

  • open data
  • bibliodiversity
  • different forms of Open Access
  • open education
  • creative Commons licenses
  • consolidation of the scientific publishing market

Objectives

At the end of this collaborative game session, participants will be able to :

  • discover or deepen their knowledge of the basic principles and components of Open Science
  • become aware of some of the major challenges of Open Science
  • put the state of Open Science and its components into perspective

Skills developed

At the end of this training course, participants will have discovered or deepened their knowledge of the principles and challenges of Open Science.
